Joan Loves.... 2 Broke Girls

Yo again,minna-san.. sehari dua post..kayak minum obat aja. Oh well, sebelum gue lupa dan pergi tidur,  gue mau ngeshare another sitcoms, 2 Broke Girls.

The Story

Set in the New York City boroughof Brooklyn, the series chronicles the lives of two waitresses in their early twenties—Max (Kat Dennings), who comes from a poor working-class family (and works an additional job as a nanny to a spoiled, obnoxious Manhattansocialite), and Caroline (Beth Behrs), who was born rich but is now disgraced and penniless due to her father being caught operating a Bernard Madoff-esque Ponzi scheme—working together at a Brooklyn restaurant. The two become friends and build their dream of one day opening a cupcake shop (for which they need to raise $250,000), although they can barely afford anything with the pay they receive at work, and must continually find ways to make ends meet. Among those working with them at the restaurant are their boss, Han Lee (Matthew Moy); Oleg (Jonathan Kite), an upbeat Ukrainian cook; and Earl (Garrett Morris), the cashier. At the start of each episode Max is shown serving a table and at the end of each episode, a tally shows how much of the $250,000 goal they have earned so far.(source wikipedia)

MY THOUGHT

I love it from the very first beginning I watch the first episode. :D It's really funny.

I just don't get it why certain people so obsessed and saying that this sitcom's being raccist. I didn't find it racist. It's a lil' bit vulgar on the language, but not racist. So there are some lines  from Max,like "don't talk to him if you don't wanna feel whiter than you are now." but I sense no racist. Dan yang gue lihat , Max itu sayang dan care sama si Earl kok.  There are some other scene yang nyinggung stereotype ras Asia juga, tapi gue juga enggak menganggap itu racist. In fact  I found it funny because it's kinda true. I've seen that kind of people in real life walaupun enggak selucu si Han.

Oke ,lanjutttt...

Hal selanjutnya yang gue suka adalah dari tokoh-tokoh utamanya, Max dan Caroline. I can totally relate to Max. In fact, I am Max (minus the gorgeous hair, smooth skin ). I'm cynical, almost think the worst that could happen to me, and SO LOW in self-esteem. Jadi gue nancep banget saat melihat Max yang enggak pernah yakin sama ide-ide Caroline karena dia enggak percaya sama kemampuannya.Yang bikin lebih nancep lagi adalah saat si Max GUGUP+Stutter saat promosiin kue ke bosnya.. Damn, itu gue pas lagi mau presentasi eksternal semester lalu..

Terus gue juga respect banget sama Caroline. She might be a typical rich daddy's girl, tapi dia mau berusaha untuk tetap bertahan terlepas teman-teman di lingkungan sosialnya udah males nerima dia. Yang bikin gue kagum lagi adalah begitu positive thinkingnya si Caroline. Dialah yang selalu nyemangatin  Max supaya Max lebih pede lagi.  Surprisingly, she can gives a really good pep talk about being positive thinking when it comes to your dream. It's inspiring :D

Of course, there are hot people in this sitcom. Yang pertama adalah mantan pacarnya Max yang dimainkan oleh Noah Mills. Yup THAT Noah Mills, the model one. Walaupun cuma muncul 2 episode, tapi gue puas banget ngeliatnya. We got to see those chizzled abs of him XD

Setelah itu juga ada Johnny, bartender/artist yang menjadi semacam 'gebetan'nya Max. He's not as handsome as Noah, but he's cute, too :D

All i got to say is it's a great sitcom, bahkan menurut gue lebih bagus dari  STATE OF GEORGIA.
