Like any other teenager, I used to love Miley Cyrus. Back in  high school,  I enjoyed watching Disney Channel sitcoms,including Hannah Montana. I found myself listening to Miley's voice singing its OST,like "best of both worlds" or "if we were a movie" over and over again.

Time goes by.. I outgrew from listening to her. Why? Mostly because she doesn't sound that good anymore. Look, I get it that she wanted to let go her "Disney good girl" image, she wanted to be recognize as her not Hannah Montana, so she did some experiments. And I have to admit,that she's a talented song-writer.But, it lacks of voice improvements.

 For me, the only songs that made her enjoyable to be listened to are  "7 Things", "The Climb" and "Butterfly Fly Away". Other than that, she sounded like either too shrill or screaming all the time. Even in her song "When I Look At You" which was supposed to be epic and sweet, all I can hear is desperate girl screaming, despite how good the lyrics was. Sorry,just saying.

Today, I just found out that she's doing cover in honoring Bob Dylan.(Hahaha,telat ya? Ya maaf. Udah lama enggak ngikutin sih XD) With Johnzo West, she's singing

"You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go".

I have to thank whoever asked her doing cover for this song! How she sounded in this song is the reason why I loved her way back when. Serak-serak basah,tapi masih terkontrol sehingga enak buat didenger. I hope she keeps doing this genre. It suits her voice more. Yah at least di tiap album ada lagu yang begini lah.
